Ceremonial bark cloth pectoral. The garment is rectangular in shape with rounded bottom corners and a cut-out at the neck. A thong of bark holds the garment around the wearer's neck.The pectoral is decorated with vegetable dyed geometric patterns in yellow, red, dark blue and black. The body of a red and black cotinga ? bird is attached to the front centre, head toward the bottom, wings and tail spread. Above and to either side is attached a design of red and green feathers under rows of white seeds centred around a larger brown seed. The pectoral is edged in dark brown and grey seeds, with several single macaw ? feathers attached at bottom. The back is undecorated.
