Obverse: bust of Justinian I, facing forward; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to right, there is a cross; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says 'PAVC'. Reverse: large ‘K’; to left, 'ANNO' in a vertical position; to right, ‘XIII' in a vertical position; above, a cross; beneath, ‘S’; in exergue, ‘CAR’.
