Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two rulers standing and facing front; Heraclius is on the left; Heraclius Constantine, his son, is the much shorter figure on the right; each wears a crown with cross and holds a globus cruciger in their right hand. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANN[O]’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘III’ in a vertical position; above, cross; beneath, ‘B’; in exergue, ‘NIKO’. Coin has been overstruck, resulting in illegible inscriptions and confusion on each side.
