Byzantine coin of Philippicus, 711-713. Obverse: bust of Philippicus, facing front; he wears a loros, an embroidered and jewelled scarf; to left, there is a sideways head, which belongs to a previous coin; inscriptions are illegible. Reverse: large āIā. Coin has been badly overstruck, causing confusion and loss of detail.
