Byzantine coin of Leo III, 717-741. Obverse: bust of Leo III, facing front; he wears a chlamys and a crown with cross; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ‘LEO’; to right, it is illegible. Reverse: large ‘K’; to right, ‘XX’ in a vertical position; to far right, ‘B’, although this may be from a previous coin; above, bust of Constantine V, resting on a horizontal line; he wears a chlamys; to left, he holds a globus cruciger. Coin may be overstruck.
