Obverse: Justin II, standing and facing front, with his head turned to the right; he wears military dress and a plumed helmet; to left, he holds a spear; to right, he holds a globe; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘NVSPPAVC’. Reverse: large ‘I’; to left and right, stars and pellets; above, cross; beneath, ‘CON’.
