Latex (balata) figure of a crocodile. Figure is made of dyed latex rubber, hand molded. Crocodile stands with all four legs bent, its tail curved, and its mouth open and grasping a fish. Incised lines across the figure’s surface indicate skin texture. Prominent ridges on the top of the head sit just above the inset black eyes. The figure is coloured brown with patches of black on its face, shoulder, tail and stomach.
