Latex (balata) figure of a crocodile. Figure is made of dyed latex rubber, hand molded. Crocodile stands with all four legs bent, tail curving to his right, head high, mouth open and grasping a fish. Short, deeply incised lines across the figure’s back indicate skin texture. Tail holds lines more lightly incised and farther apart. Prominent ridges on the top of the head sit just above inset black eyes. The snout holds deeply incised nostrils. The figure is coloured green, and the fish is a light brown.
