Latex (balata) figure of a turtle. Figure is made of dyed latex rubber in green, hand molded. Turtle stands on four flipper feet, with a rounded head emerging from the shell. Eyes are inset balls, red in colour, above incised nostrils and mouth. The shell is covered with a modified diamond pattern, incised, to indicate the scutes. The underside of the figure is concave, with little detail.
