Spindle Whorl

Wood spindle and whorl. Shaft is long and thin, tapering to a point at each end. A cylindrical clay whorl sits just off mid-point, painted black with white flower motifs separated by lines of white and red-brown. The wood on either side of the whorl is painted with encircling lines of red-brown, dark brown, and white. The spindle’s tips are unpainted.
