Round beaded neck ring with striped design. Necklace consists of seven rows of encircling beads, becoming successively smaller in size towards centre. Rows are (from exterior to interior): alternating white and blue, red-orange, red-orange, amber, red-orange, red-orange, dark blue. Thin strands of braided metal placed intermittently across neck ring to hold beads in place. Space between two braided cords, at front of necklace, have columns of red-orange beads trimming two columns of white beads with blue stripes through them. Oval-shaped attachment along inner edge, decorated in dark blue beads; able to cross necklace band or protrude inward. Necklace secures at back with a large hook clasp.

Acquired by the donor when they lived in Tanzania and Uganda in the 1960s.
