Pink, rectangular textile with unfinished short edges; wide decorative panel in centre with three vertical stripes on either side. Left short edge of textile has a small amount of loose thread, acting as fringe; longer loose threads on right side, with green band stitched partway through them. Central panel has three rows of grouped, white wavy lines; interlocking white and olive green lines between rows. Embroidered dark pink curvilinear motifs, and pink and yellow flowers with green foliage motifs throughout panel. All green embroidery has silver metallic threads; visible from back of textile.

    Acquired by the donor from a Comox area antique store in the early 1990s.

    Possibly made as a pair (with 3661/1) of wedding scarves?

    Lun-taya acheik weaving technique. 3661/1-2 appear to have been woven on the same warp, designed as a pair. Finely woven with pink silk and silver metallic threads.
